Happy Halloween From Lucas the Lion

Awww! My nephew is an adorable lion! Correct me if I'm wrong though, does he look about as thrilled with the Halloween concept as his daddy (my brother) always used to be when we were little? It may be a little known fact (and I apologize D if I'm blowing any kind of secret) but Darryl hated Halloween costumes for most of his childhood years.
It wasn't until our preteen years when we figured out that we could hit a couple hundred houses in 2 to 2 1/2 hours (with time to run home, dump our loot on the floor and give the crappy stuff to Mom to hand back out) that Darryl and I REALLY started to enjoy Halloween.
Yes, I know what you're thinking...we were greedy! Maybe...but I like to think we were making an example of the fine fitness level kids had back then. We spent every waking hour playing outside in those days, not vegging in front of computers like kids today...so the fact is...we COULD run from house to house without dropping dead! I have to give our Dad credit though...he could always keep up and when the bag got too heavy, he would give us a new bag and carry the heavy one for us!

Happy Halloween everyone!
