Well desperation is master of invention. After fretting about how bad today was going to be it turned out to be not so bad. Maybe it's a good thing I have young children as most of my transportation was similar to that of a baby. Although I did use my crutches to get around. I also crawled, scootched and dragged myself around. One of the most effective ways was walking on my knees. That way I could pick Nathan up if I needed to without putting any weight on my foot. Although I am going to wear out the knees and the bums of all my pants. Darryl was also such a great help.
I am still feeling a little frustrated and confined, but it went better today then expected.
It was amazing that the boys were kind of emotional today. They really pick up that something is wrong.
Till Tomorrow and Day 2 of surviving...

pleased you got on better than you thought you might have

I knew you'd get along well. You're just not the type of person that lets anything hold you back. Plus, you have two fabulous kids and a great husband that round out your "team".
I'm so glad your day went better than expected.
Oh gosh, Jenn! I hope you're feeling better soon. I am glad you went and had your foot checked. I broke my big toe a few years ago, I was cleaning the house and kicked a chair really hard and jammed it. I should have gone to the doctor but didn't and it STILL bugs me. I can't wear any shoes but mostly flats or I'm practically crippled.
I hope that Darryl can be around to help you here and there. I wish I was close, I'd be there in a second.
I'm sure you'll come up with some very clever and practical ways to do things at home. Feel better!!
