And I'm so glad we did. When she is swimming in that lake she couldn't be happier. I don't think Lucas and Nathan really appreciate being on vacation and the change of scenery. But Emma loves swimming in the lake. Something she can't really do at home. I have spent lots this vacation longing for it to be 5 years from now, when the boys really appreciate the beach ( I know the grass is not always greener). Except with Emma, she is so happy with her parents.

I'm sure that beautiful lake more than makes up for her fears of Opa. She looks thrilled to have been brought along!

Can't let this pass ... Emma likes it so much that when Jenn and I are playing with Lucas and Nathan, she sits there in the sand with the frizbee at her feet looking at us and quietly whines. This dog rarely whines! So when she does you know she's loving the swimming and wants that frizbee to be thrown.
I think that dogs can be as much entertainment as the kids. I'm glad you took her. Looks like she is living it up!
