Hmmmm...I think it may have to be that we have a lot of light in our kitchen, 4 smallish windows for natural light and I think 6 potlights so it's nice and bright which is important for those days like today when the kids and I burned the muffins. I think next time we'd definitely go with a walk through pantry and island with storage space in it... Have fun creating!
Although our kitchen is small, I've always really liked a galley kitchen. It's extremely functional while you're in the midst of preparing a meal. I can't wait for the house to be paid off though so I can remodel my galley kitchen to add some more counter space, some more storage space and perhaps open it up so I can see into the living area.
