Still Waiting

Well today is the day they predicted the baby would come, I never believed it for one minute. Babies seems to love my belly. Lucas took the full extra 10 days before he decided to come out, so hopefully this one will come out in the next week. I also hope this one doesn't get as big while hanging out in my belly.

So while I waiting I am enjoying sleeping through the night, having normal breasts and spending lots of time with Lucas. I know that it will be a lot more work once that bambino comes.

One of the questions I have for all the new moms out there is what is the coolest new "thing" that is out there for babies? I would like to get a sling this time, is there one you recommend? I've also heard of this nursing cover, is it good? Any other great baby stuff out there I should know about?

Till Tomorrow

I've found the nursing covers to be more of a hindrance. They get in the way and you can't see how the baby is latching (when they're brand new) and I think it draws more attention to you than just nursing normally. But then I'm not shy about nursing in public. If you feel more comfortable covering up then it looks like there are some fun looking fabrics for them!

Jenn,
I mailed our baby gift on Monday night. There's a gift for the baby, a gift for Lucas and one for you. The one for you is my favourite new "baby" item for Mom's. I can't say more or I'll spoil the surprise.

Hope you like it!

I actually really like that nursing cover, and I think I used it a lot mainly because I got it for my second child. I was out a lot more because of Sam and had to nurse Robby in much more compromising positions/locations and I found that it has helped me quite often.

You could try hotslings.

I like the nursing cover but I don't actually have one, I just use blankets. I keep thinking $40 is too much for it, ha ha.

We got the baby a Bumbo, it's a little seat (you'll have to wait a few months to use it but they're fun). THat was new since Six was born.

I can't wait to hear about your new little one!!
