Foothills Triathalon

Well I did it again. Today I completed another triathlon. This one was the same distance as the one last year. Here are some picture highlights.

Getting ready for the swim.

In transition from swim to bike.

Here I am crossing the finish line. No official times have been posted, but I am hoping I was under my time from last year. I liked the course better this time, but it didn't seem to have as much significance this year. Maybe because I had done one before, maybe because no one did it with me not sure, maybe because it was early in the season and I didn't spend as much time preparing as last year. Anyway not sure if I'll do it next year or not.... Although I do love collecting t-shirts. =)

Till Tomorrow

Jenn

Oh, my goodness...she's done it again! Jenn, you're crazy...and I love that about you! You're the only one I know that would put triathlons on her "bucket list"!
I know this one probably wasn't as fun because your training buddy wasn't participating...but I think that makes this one an even bigger accomplishment because you did it flying solo! It's so much harder to compete with your inner self than to compete against friends, family or other competitors.

Congratulations on another fine finish! You're AMAZING!

Michelle and I were thinking of you during your triathalon!
Congratulations - it's an awesome accomplishment, especially doing it solo.

Remind me to talk to you about the Rocky Mountain women's run in Canmore. It's in the spring time so it won't be until 2011. I'd like to sign up for next year but unlike you I NEED A PARTNER!!!!

You got guts girl. My hat is off to you, especially with everything else that goes on in your day to day life. I can hardly talk myself into going to the gym most days, let alone a triathalon training and event. I'm sooooooooooo proud of you. You have great determination. Love from Mom Fuller
