I love Thanksgiving. It is hands down my favorite holiday. I love the time of year, I love the food. I love the lack of commercialism. I love that there is a holiday about saying thanks. One of the traditions around our table is to say what it is we are thankful for. Whether it's happy, healthy kids or good food or god or love. It's a time to reflect on the good things in our lives. We were lucky to have family and friends join us. It was a great weekend. Lucas loved spending time with Auntie Karen and Auntie Lexie. Nathan enjoyed making happy faces at Grandma and Pop and Oma and Opa. My mom made the BEST turkey. I don't know if it was because I ran or if I skipped lunch, but I loved dinner. I even ate Lucas's leftovers 3 hours after dinner was done and everyone was gone.
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays as well! I'm jealous you already got to celebrate yours...we have another month or so to go. I just love the food, the family, and the conversation...and having everyone together!
we don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Europe. I think we should. We don't often think about the things we are/should be gratefull for. It seems such a lovely holiday.
